Blue Ridge, GA Attractions

Blue Ridge offers many attractions for the young and old, adventurous and not-so adventurous! Blue Ridge is a charming town that many vacationers come back to year after year, sometimes season after season based on the attractions offered. From art and music festivals and fun outdoor activities to wineries and breweries...not to mention historical geocaches in and around the Blue Ridge Mountains, ziplining adventure parks, and outdoor outfitters, Blue Ridge will tug at your heart strings to come back again and again just to experience all the fabulous activities that abound here.

Every spring and fall Arts in the Park is a popular Blue Ridge event that is a must-see. Artists from all over come to Blue Ridge to set up tents and share their wares for sale in the park. For two weeks very June, the Blue Ridge Chamber Music Festival brings world-class musicians to Blue Ridge for performances and meet-and-greets.

The Swan Drive-in is one of Blue Ridge's famous attractions as only one of a handfull left in the USA. Movies have been filmed here and families enjoy setting up picnics and watching movies all year round.

You can't miss North Georgia's BIGGEST family attraction where entertainment meets education. A 4,000 sqft complex where you will see the country's largest permanent display of genuine Bigfoot artifacts, life sized exhibits, photos, sketches, large up-to-date sighting maps, and the world's only Bigfoot Research and Tech Vehicle on display. This experience will have you talking about it for days!

A favorite with the locals is the John C. Campbell Folk School in Murphy, NC just 30 minutes from Blue Ridge. Every Tuesday night and Saturday night experience the joys of contra-dancing with young and old together - it will warm your heart to see multi-generations dancing together. They offer week-long classes as well to learn a craft. Also, while in Murphy, head down the road for a couple of miles and you can play the slot machines at Harrah's Casino. We have three cabins in Murphy located within 15 minutes of both the Folk School and the Casino.

So come to Blue Ridge and experience all the amazing attractions that are offered for your entertainment and enjoyment!
