October 2 - 3, 2010 Location: John C. Campbell Folk School One Folk School Road Brasstown, NC 28902 Driving Directions: From Blairsville, GA Travel North on US-129/US-19 for approximately 11.4 miles (you’ll cross into NC on this stretch). Turn right on to Martins Creek Road (NC-1556) and travel for approximately 3.8 miles. Turn right onto Brasstown Road – the Folk School is approximately 4.5 miles – look for volunteers to help direct you to parking areas as you approach the Fall Festival. |

Frogtown Cellars
Driving Directions: From Blairsville Travel south on HWY 129/ 19 toward Dahlonega after 21 miles turn right onto HWY 19. After 2.2 miles turn left onto Damascus Church Rd. and go 3.4 miles. Take a right as soon as the FROGTOWN sign is in sight onto Ridge Point Dr, the winery is the light gray building on the left 100 yards up Ridge Point Drive. Approximate travel time is 50min. |

Bluegrass Festival in Blairsville
There will be jamming all around downtown Blairsville on September 17th & 18th. The new Blairsville Bluegrass event will have stages at the Union County Civic Center (Saturday Only) and on the Square in front of the Hole in the Wall Restaurant (Friday & Saturday). There will be "jamming" tents around the courthouse on the square and at the Civic Center. The Bluegrass will start at the Hole in the Wall Restaurant on Friday September 17th at 5:00 pm until the music stops. Saturday September 18th will be filled with Bluegrass all around Blairsville. There will be shuttle service on Saturday from the parking lot of the new courthouse to the Civic Center and the Square. |

Mountain Music with Arts & Crafts Festival
On Saturday September 11th from 10 am to 5 pm, Vogel State Park will be having Mountain Music with Arts & Crafts. This popular event will have Appalachian bluegrass and gospel music; arts & crafts booths; demonstrations on spinning, blacksmithing and bowl carving; and food concessions will be also provided. |

Thinking about visiting any wineries this weekend. Frogtown Cellars will be having live music this Saturday under their covered pavilion. You can enjoy paninis and their great wines to the sound of Timothy O'Donovan. The outdoor tasting room and live music will begin at 12:00 pm till 6:00 pm.
