Crooked Creek Cabin, 4bedroom/3 bath, is an idyllic privately secluded cabin with gorgeous views of the surrounding countryside. This gorgeous cabin has claims to its very own large rushing creek, full of Rainbow trout (650 feet of it), which is only 50 feet from the cabin. Crooked Creek Cabin is at the foot of a steep mountainside, which is part of the Chattahoochee National Forest and perfect for your own private hiking adventure. When you are at Crooked Creek Cabin you feel as though there is no one else in the world but you. As you sit in the rockers on the large covered porches of this cabin, shaded by old tall pine trees, dogwoods and the maples, you can hear the rushing waters of Wilscot Creek calling your name to drop in your line and catch a rainbow, completely enveloped in serenity and beauty...the perfect spot for forgetting all the cares of the world.

The interiors of Crooked Creek Cabin are well-appointed with leather furnishings, Ralph Lauren bedding, granite countertops in the kitchen and bathrooms with tile and natural stone accents...all the comforts of home and more. This cabin features a finished basement complete with billiards table and Queen suite. This luxury cabin features HDTV, surround sound, movie packages, books, antique heart-pine floors, exposed 4x6 wood beams, a stone wood-burning fireplace, one King Master Suite with its own private covered deck facing the river, two Queen Suites, and two twins. One of the Queen Suites is on the basement level and features a covered porch with the hot tub...the perfect spot for soaking in the hot tub, building a fire in the fire pit and listening to the waters of the creek. The large kitchen, which is open to the main level, features stainless-steel appliances, a gas stove with convection oven, and custom lighting. There are large porches surrounding the cabin: east and west sundecks, and a large covered porch complete with comfortable rockers, a dining table, and gas grill all facing the river. Down below at the river's edge is a picnic table and a fire pit, the perfect spot for soaking in all the nature around you.

Crooked Creek Cabin is the perfect vacation spot for every month of the year. In the spring and summertime there is fishing and playing in the creek, exploring all the wonders of the water and nature. Our children play in the little river every chance they get, walking on the boulders in the creek, taking a big stick and poking around under rocks, or just fishing. They love to explore the large property around the cabin, as it is private and secluded - a natural wonderland for children. For the motorcyclist and bicyclist enthusiasts this cabin is perfectly located off a very low-trafficked paved road and is very near Hwy. 60 between Morganton and Dahlonega, which is a very popular motorcycle route through scenic twisty mountain passes. For the canoe/kayak/tubing enthusiasts Crooked Creek is literally minutes from a canoe rental on the Toccoa River, which is the main tributary feeding into Lake Blue Ridge. In the beauty that fall and wintertime offer, it is still comfortable outdoors to enjoy the creek...be it sitting on the covered porch curled up in a rocker with a blanket reading a good book, or sitting at the river's edge having built a great fire in the fire pit, enjoying good conversation and a glass of wine.
