| If you are looking for a private hideaway in the North Georgia Mountains, where your every need is anticipated, and the peacefulness and serenity are magical, Above the Pines is where you belong.
This secluded North Georgia cabin rental is situated high on a mountainside, featuring an elevated sightline of the mountains and surrounded by a forest of hardwoods and pine trees. Above the Pines is located in the heart of the Rich Mountain Wilderness and the Aska Adventure Area of Blue Ridge, Georgia. Enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the Blue Ridge Mountains while relaxing in a porch swing or rocking chair on any one of our three oversized covered decks.
The recreational opportunities are endless as the area is renowned for its miles of Appalachian Trail hiking and mountain biking trails - the perfect way to take in the bountiful nature around you. An easy hike just down the hill from the cabin will take you along Stanley Creek to the Falls Branch Falls hike where you are able to view a beautiful waterfall. If a longer hike is desired, the Benton MacKay Trail is within walking distance from the cabin’s front door. You will find an informative guide book in the cabin put together for your enjoyment, offering directions to many of the area's attractions and hikes. During much of the year, visitors can be spotted canoeing, kayaking, tubing, and fly-fishing on the Toccoa River or playing in and around Lake Blue Ridge, both just minutes from Above the Pines.
