North Georgia Romantic Getaway

Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful place with us! It was a perfect romantic getaway after Tim's return from Iraq. After our second day here, he proposed in front of the fireplace. It was so sweet and unexpected! We took the hike to the falls, which was nice. The house is great, and we hope to be back in the future.

Honeymoon In The North Georgia Mountains

We arrived on Friday, January 30th after getting married in Atlanta! This cabin is a lovely honeymoon weekend getaway. We have spent the weekend mostly relaxing and enjoying our new marriage journey. Watching the sunrise from the master bedroom balcony has been amazing. It is also a wonderful place to read the Bible. The hiking in the area is fun too. I keep watching out for Bears! My husband and I will be returning soon. Thank you so much!

Christmas Train Ride In The North Georgia Mountains

We had a wonderful time in you beautiful cabin even though it rained everyday! We relaxed, grilled steaks, shopped and rode around and saw the beautiful scenery. This was our first trip to Blue Ridge and we hope to come back. My mom and I loved the little shops downtown and we had tons of fun on our train ride to Copperhill for the Christmas Village. Our little guy FINALLY decided to tell Santa what he wanted for Christmas! Thanks for sharing!

Anniversary In The North Georgia Montains

We don't want to leave!! This trip was a surprise to me for our anniversary and a first time mountain cabin experience for him. The cabin is gorgeous and the view even better! We enjoyed the pool table and the hot tub under the stars. It was an absolutely perfect time - just being with each other out in such a beautiful setting! North Georgia Mountain Family Vacation

We have been looking forward to visiting "Above the Pines" cabin since we stayed here 2 years ago. We enjoyed sharing this experience with our 3-year old and 10.5 month old. While visiting, we went to the Southern Plantation Tree Farm where our 3-year old rode a pony, roasted marshmallows, and went on a hayride. We also visited a few of our favorite places - Mercier's Orchard, Burt's Farm, and Amicalola Lodge. During our stay, we enjoyed sitting outside relaxing. We even carved a pumpkin, made s'mores by the campfire, played a game of Candyland and had many picnics. Both of our girls loved the tent in the basement! It nice to spend quality time as a family. The basement turned out so beautiful! We really enjoyed reading the guest books. It was fun to see what others had enjoyed after our stay last time. It was exciting to see that the couple who stayed here right after us last time got engaged in front of the fireplace! Thank you for yet another memorable visit to your beautiful cabin.
