Summer Vacation With Cabin Rentals of Georgia

Gary and Lissa - Thank you for such a wonderful cabin. This was a great place to come with old friends and enjoy a few days together. The best time of all was spent on the pontoon for a day on Lake Blue Ridge. It was beautiful here and we enjoyed perfect weather. The cabin was well thought out by the two of you and beautifully furnished throughout. Red Fox showed up at the end of porch downstairs – later we saw a raccoon. Great wildlife here! Tubing was a great experience too – as long as you don’t fall off! I think we had it all and did it all! Thanks so much for everything!

North Georgia Mountain Family Vacation In The Summer

The cabin is wonderful and Georgia is amazing! Our family had an incredible time doing activities - tubing was so much fun – hiking to the waterfalls was cool, too. We all enjoyed ourselves and plan to return. It’s sad that we have to return to Florida – it’s still too hot there!

Independence Day In The North Georgia Mountains

What an amazing time we had at this beautiful cabin! So luxurious and every comfort well thought out – all our needs were taken care of. And let’s not forget to mention ALL the fun things we did – rented tubes down the Toccoa River, did some hiking, and you HAVE to rent a pontoon on Lake Blue Ridge – do it for the full day. Too much fun! Thanks so much, Gary and Lissa, for a beautiful home and a memorable time.

A Family Trip to the Blue Ridge Mountains

This is a wonderful cabin, we had an awesome time. The Toccoa Riverside Restaurant was great! If you walk behind the Toccoa Riverside Restaurant, there's a little ledge where you can dip your feet in the water! It is awesome to sit outside when the weather is not too hot, not too cool, but just right! (like porridge) I hope the next people after us have a wonderful time! It's a great place to watch wildlife like deer, and cool bugs!

An Adventurous Time in the Blue Ridge Mountains

This was our 1st year vacationing with the in-laws, kids, and my own mom. The cabin was great we all fit comfortably and the kids loved being downstairs playing pool.

Here are a few things we did on our trip:

1. Deep Creek tubing in Bryson City- whitewater rafting. They have an upper area for the more adventures or the lower area where you can float longer. Either way you end up in the same spot at the end.

2.We went Whitewater rafting on the Ocoee, it was the best on the trip! Our guide was Martin. Make sure you ask for him!

3.There are some waterfalls around, but the nicest was Amicalola Falls, breathtaking! There is a little place to fish for trout!

4.You must eat at the Toccoa Riverside Restaurant a 5-minute walk from the bottom of the driveway- Pecan Crusted Trout- delicious!(That's where my husband and I spent our 2nd anniversary night)

5. Don't forget to go down to the swing it's across the street. You can even bring chairs (if you have any) to sit by the river. We went at dusk to wade in the water. So refreshing and nice to take pictures. Make sure to put your cork in the basket too!
