Family Retreat in the North Georgia MountainsGreat road trip from Florida - the weather was warm, wet, and sunny - we had it all. We relaxed excessively! Went horseback riding (Adventure Trail Rides), visited Chattanooga, TN and saw Ruby Falls, visited Mercier's (awesome), ate all day, drank wine all night. There was something for all ages from 5 to 75. We even visited all the small towns around the area. One place we recommend is Cider House (local spot) serves home cooking only 1 or 2 dishes on the menu daily - super friendly and the most amazing chicken fried steak you'll eat in your life. Some of our favorite moments include spending quality time with our parents and kids. LOTS of board games and clean family fun!!
