Flat Creek Loop in Blue Ridge, GA, is a ride that you'll really enjoy this ride on a hot day when the surrounding peaks shield you from the hot summer sun. Conversely, you can get pretty cold on this ride in the winter. If you always end up with wet feet on any ride, take extra socks. Available for both hiking & biking, the 5-mile Flat Creek Loop is rated moderate and receives moderate use. Part of this trail follows a creek as it tumbles down along an old roadbed, and part of this trail is the creek. The numerous rocks and crossings will challenge your technical riding skill, especially if there's ice on the rocks or your rims. This loop configuration is the favorite of locals; the ride is great in either direction. Tread: 5.9 miles on singletrack, some distances on an old roadbed.
