Fields of the Wood Bible Park

Fields of the Wood is located in Murphy, NC, just a quick 30+ minutes up Spur 60 from Blue Ridge. Located on more than 200 acres in the Smoky Mountain foothills, Fields of the Wood is a fascinating outdoor biblical park.  One of the most popular features on-site, the “world’s largest Ten Commandments,” is 30 ft high and 50 ft wide, displayed proudly upon a sloped hill. There are stairs to climb to the top, but don’t worry, there is also a paved road, so driving to the top is an option. In addition to the Ten Commandments mountain, there are 321 steps ascending to Prayer Mountain, where visitors are encouraged to spend time in prayer and quiet meditation. Explore the "theme park," where you will find a replication of Golgotha, the Garden Tomb, a baptismal pool, 29 marble markers with biblical teachings engraved on them, and so much more to explore on 200 acres. There is also a gift shop and cafe.
