  Fightingtown TavernRestaurants Located in Blue Ridge  Our rock-themed tavern is a fun hangout for locals and visitors. It's a laid-back, casual, and welcoming place to have delicious, fresh, regionally sourced comfort food with a pretty big twist.We are working closely with our food service providers to source all of our ingredients from farms as close to the tavern as possible. We also source from local farms directly. No Freezers, No Microwaves, No Kidding.
Our craft bar is built around our ten beer taps (all from Georgia) and an awesome small-batch whiskey/bourbon selection. We also carry more than 20 bottled beers and a full bar for exceptional cocktails, using juices we fresh-squeeze in-house. We have great music, dart boards, shuffleboard tables, and Billiard Room, and we play all the big games on seven flat screens. We built out with as much reclaimed materials as possible, use environmentally safe cleaning products and to-go containers, and use efficient Energy Star products. We can't wait to see y'all here for a burger and beer !! Family gatherings are very special to us since we are only able to do it twice a year. From Alabama, South Georgia and even all the way from Oregon, so this week in the mountains was very special. We have decided against the beach from now on - it's mountains, blue skies and... Family gatherings are very special to us since we are only able to do it twice a year. Monday was the perfect lazy, rainy day. Tuesday was a day of fishing and exploring - the gazebo alone has inspired a backyard getaway reminder. Wednesday, the 4th, was a great day of BBQ, laughter and good food. Thursday was "venture day" from precious boutiques downtown, a record breaking round of golf at butternut creek - nice course in Blairsville, a three-year old's first catch with Daddy, and Baby's first wave - it was a blessed day. On Friday we put the "ad" in Adventure when seven of us went whitewater rafting and only three stayed in the boat for the entire trip!! Scars are tattoos with better stories! That night we REALLY appreciated the hot tub. All in all the week was FULL of Great food, memorable moments and family togetherness. Thanks! |
