We enjoyed coffee on the various porches in the mornings and several wines at night with the meals we prepared. Fishing licenses were easy to obtain over the phone or at ACE Hardware and the Noontootla Creek down by the gazebo was a great area to fish. We managed to take a couple of hikes in the area, which included the largest Swinging Bridge east of the Mississippi River on the Benton-McKaye Trail. We also did the Long Creek Falls hike which was a beautiful waterfall that only required a short 30 min. hike. We went white water rafting on Thursday with the Ocoee Rafting Company and our guide Emily made it a truly pleasurable experience. You can request her when you call to set up your trip. For a great guided fishing trip from experienced fly fishermen, ask for Hunter or Carter at the Blue Ridge Fly Fishing shop. We fished in a place called Frog Hollow and my friends and I caught at least one 20 in. trout! We look forward to coming back in the future to enjoy another great vacation and read what other activities future guests have found in the area. As for the girls - We went on the lovely train ride and it was a marvelous day! We finished the first jigsaw puzzle from the previous guests, and then we started another. This was such a bonding time with our grown children. We never knew how much fun working puzzles could be! Thank you for that. Your place is beautiful!
