Anthony and I came to the mountains together, along with Mildred. This was our first trip together, and a very special one for Mildred. We had a wonderful time hiking to waterfalls, rivers, and bridges. It was nice to come back to this beautiful cabin and the sound of the river...
WaterfallsAlong with the extensive wooded trails in the North Georgia area, breathtakingly beautiful waterfalls abound in these mountains as well! Add some extra pizzazz to your outdoor experience in Blue Ridge with these waterfalls! Fall Branch Falls, located in the Aska Adventure Area near several of our luxury cabins like Aska Escape Lodge, is tucked away off of a wooded trail, but the serenity of the waterworks is well worth the mile hike, easy for little legs too. Climb up to the top of the waterfall for a fun photo-op! Closer to Ellijay, Amicalola Falls is the third tallest waterfall (729 feet) east of the Missisippi River, and the views will leave you speechless. Helton Creek Falls, located in Vogel State Park, is a gorgeous sight to add to your hiking daytrip, as well as Raven Cliff Falls. Experience Blue Ridge and its gorgeous scenery with the many opportunities to get outside and hike both trails and waterfalls!
