Fall Peak Season in Luxury

Cabin Rentals of Georgia is a family business in Blue Ridge, GA.  When we built our company in 2004, we built one luxury cabin, setting the excellent standard we desired to share with others. From there, we grew from building personal luxury cabins with exceptional views and amenities to managing our clients’ luxury homes with outstanding views and amenities.  We have built over 13 luxury homes and have ten personal homes in our property management program. Through these years, our children have grown alongside us as we established and pursued our luxury cabin vacation rental business.  Since our kids could learn how to walk, they have experienced and learned everything from cleaning cabins, performing housekeeping inspections, spending time in the office, performing maintenance tasks to now working in our reservations department, marketing department, and housekeeping department.  What a blessing our children are to us, as they impact others and add so much specialness to our company. 

During October, our family decided to play the part of guests while staying in our Toccoa River luxury cabins in Blue Ridge.  Our mission was to make sure our homes were up to the high standards that we expect in a luxury cabin. Because the Thanksgiving and Christmas/New Year holidays are quickly approaching, it becomes critical that each home is properly outfitted in the kitchen and the living spaces with all the accouterments and comforts of home that our discerning guests expect.  A lot of preparation goes into ensuring that each luxury cabin provides our guests with a supreme experience.  Incidentally, while staying there, we ran up to McCaysville/Copperhill, a 10-minute drive to play local tourist!

In our efforts to maintain the high standards of luxury and excellence that we tout, we made sure that the Toccoa Heights cabins Riverview Lodge, Outlaw Ridge, The River's Edge, and Rolling River Cabin had enough dishes, silverware, glassware, platters, serving bowls, utensils, cookware, and bakeware necessary to prepare a lovely holiday feast for family and friends. In addition, we inspected all the beds to ensure they provide a comfortable night’s rest! When we rent vacation rentals from other places, it’s important for us to have all the comforts of home- including comfortable beds - and when expectations are not met, the vacation becomes less than we expected, and disappointment sets in. On the flip side of those bad experiences, we appreciate those disappointing times because they help us continue striving for the excellence that we expect and desire to share. 

On a more personal level, staying in our Toccoa Heights luxury cabins provides the work ethic we continue to instill in our children. From splitting wood and providing our guests firewood on demand to directing guests walking the subdivision trying to find their way down to the river, it establishes the mindset of servant leadership, of putting others before yourself, and ensuring that each of our guests has a memorable experience they will always treasure.

And speaking of coming back again and again, we have guests staying at The River’s Edge this weekend who have stayed with us for the last ten years for their autumn annual girls' getaway weekend, a special time for these ladies, enjoying friendships in a beautiful setting on the Toccoa River during Blue Ridge’s peak leaf season. How special it is for us to host them again and know that everything they will need or want is already taken care of.
