Things to Do in Blue Ridge, GA  Most people come to the mountains to escape from the mundane routine of their 9 to 5, to kick back and relax by binging Netflix and enjoying the scenery from the car window. But we know there are multiple sides to every story, and some people come to the mountains to have that friendly reminder of being alive. Looking for a real life problem-svoling puzzel? Look no further: An escape room is an adventure game in which players are "locked" in a room and have to use elements of the room to solve a series of puzzles and escape within a set time limit. The games are physical versions of "escape the room" video games. Your Game Master will control the game. If you are stumped, the Game Master will give you clues as you request. The Game Master will be watching you via video and can hear you via audio. There will be a television screen that will be used to give hints as needed. A team should agree if a hint is used or not. The Game Master can make it hard or easier, depending on your needs. The themes of the rooms/puzzles change relatively often, so be sure to take a look at Escape Blue Ridge's website to see what puzzles they currently have, and what's upcoming. They've had rooms from Wizard School of Magic, to Black Beard's Brig, to Prohibition.
2nd Story Entertainment is an indoor family fun center featuring a full 18 hole unique mini-golf course weaving in and out of 8 individually themed rooms of a 112 year old hotel. Also, on the golf course are other games such as a giant connect 4, giant checkers and two magnetic dart boards. In addition to mini-golf, they also have arcade games such as Air Hockey, Ms. Pacman, Big Buck Hunter and more. Additional games arriving soon. Blue Ridge’s premiere Aerial Adventure Park is an obstacle challenge course designed to challenge participants both mentally and physically. The course features three levels of suspended bridges and tight ropes ranging from 15 to 50 feet in the air, with each level becoming progressively more difficult. Each participant is clipped onto a safety line while on the course. The course is designed to be self-guided for ages ten and older. Everyone has up to an hour and a half to get through the course at their own pace. A great adventure and rewarding opportunity that will challenge you to new height!
