Our agency rented this home for a corporate retreat. The pictures do not do justice to how incredibly beautiful this home is! As soon as you walk in the door, you are in awe of the quality and beauty of the home. We were greeted with music playing and the air turned on so that we would be comfortable as soon as we stepped into the home! The kitchen is state of the art with everything you will need to cook any type of dinner. The bedrooms were very welcoming with samples of soap and other goodies placed on the bed with extra fluffy towels. All three floors offered opportunities for relaxing! There is a sun porch that called us to take time to relax and enjoy the view! The outdoor fireplace was a great gathering place at night to reflect on our thoughts for the day and to gaze at the stars. I highly recommend this house! The price is excellent for such a quality home. We are very thankful to have had such a beautiful, restful setting for our retreat and plan on returning next year!

Way more cabin than two people need, but everyone should have the opportunity to live like royalty at least once in their lives. The cabin itself is beautiful and reflects the care and style of its hosts Gary and Lissa. The main floor is truly the heart of Fallen Timber. 90% of our time was spent in the living room and the kitchen/dining area. The view cannot truly be put into words. From the river below, up through the trees, and into the skies above...well you'll just have to put this journal down and go see for yourself. Walk the railroad tracks, float down the river, explore downtown Blue Ridge, spend a day at the lake, or just sit back and enjoy the view. Whatever you do, remember to count your blessings for the time you have while you are here. Thank You Gary and Lissa! |
