Best Family Reunion at Fallen Timber

Family Gatherings are very special to us since we are only able to do it twice a year. We have decided against going to the beach from now on, it's mountains, blue skies and water. Although we began with a "Rocky" start it turned out to be a very peaceful and relaxing week. Monday was the perfect lazy, rainy day. Tuesday was a day of fishing and exploring - the gazebo alone has inspired a backyard getaway reminder. For the 4th day local family & friends paid a visit for great BBQ, laughter and drinks. Thursday was "venture day" from precious boutiques downtown, a record breaking round of golf at Butternut Creek in Blairsville. A three year olds first catch with daddy, and baby's first wave it was a blessed day. On Friday we put the "AD" in Adventure. Seven of us went whitewater rafting and only three stayed in the boat the entire trip. "Scars are tatoos with better stories". That night we REALLY appreciated the hot tub. All in all the week was full of great food, memorable moments and family togetherness.
