Family HolidayWe had a wonderful Thanksgiving! The view from Fallen Timber Lodge was just beautiful. We loved the openness of the cabin, and the decor was very unique. In the morning, we would see a bald eagle fly down the Toccoa River. We enjoyed being able to have a fire in the rock fireplace! We kept talking about going into Blue Ridge for shopping and the Christmas Parade, but we just relaxed and hung around the cabin. We enjoyed watching the train pass along the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway. Happy holidays in 2014! |  The Memories What a beautiful home, and majestic setting! Many thanks for all you have done to make our stay so special! Thanks to the assistance of Taylor, we will surely recommend, as well as return to Blue Ridge, GA! We've had a terrific several days here as a family - grandparents, son and 2 children, daughter, son-in-law and 2 children - 9 of us. The cabin has been perfect - a great gathering area on the main floor, yet the separate bedroom suites with ensuite baths were a plus... Roasting marshmallows and making s'mores each evening, we all loved. The spaciousness of the house was a delight. You have thought of everything, and it shows! It has been said that "little things mean alot", and the plethora of well done details made our stay delightful, relaxing, and homey. The hand of our Creator in the views around us blessed and amazed us. The expertise He gave you to renovate and prepare this spacious home delighted us. God's love through creation, warmth, and perfect weather - WOW! This was a super summer place - we look forward to a breathtaking winter or fall season. We pray that you will use and enjoy your lovely home in the North Georgia mountains for many years. Thank you for sharing it with us. |
