Perfect Way to Experience Blue RidgeWhat a view!! We have enjoyed waking up to mountain sunrises and gazing at the night sky from the hot tub. We have had a great time visiting your beautiful cabin. We stayed for 4 days and took a hike each day. We hiked off Stanley Rd., over by the Toccoa River and Lake Blue Ridge. As we leave tomorrow, we plan to stop and pick apples at Mercier Orchard (weekend in Sept.). We had camp fires, played pool, and grilled out. It's been a perfect getaway and hope to come back. Thank you for the memories. |  The Memories Our journey to this cabin began because of a wonderful friend who rented this cabin for me, my husband, my brother and his wife. Our friend was with us when we found out my husband was very sick with cancer. He wanted my husband to enjoy some time away before he began his treatment. As we arrived, we saw the groundhog run under the house. We saw him one other time, then never saw him again. If was cold the first day we arrived, so we went to Walmart and bought a few things to eat and some fire starter. My brother started up the wood stove in the living room and we were nice and cozy. The cabin was nice. We all got much-needed rest. The boys fished, watched TV and fished some more. We enjoyed coffee outside every morning and eating breakfast at noon. We enjoyed the scenery and each other’s company. We were so thankful for out time here and we will always and forever cherish the memories we made here. This was just one more we will have to reflect and smile upon. We are so thankful. Family reunion—24 of us in 3 cabins. Beautiful setting to bring everyone together and appreciate the outdoors.
