  Blue Ridge Kiwanis RodeoFestivals & Events  The local Kiwanis Rodeo has traditionally been one of the top small-town rodeos throughout the Southeast. Drawing about 2500 attendees per night, the annual Kiwanis Rodeo is always held on the third full weekend of August and is open on both Friday and Saturday nights, rain or shine at the Kiwanis Fairgrounds! The weather was not great so it was nice to stay in at the cabin and enjoy a fire on the covered porch. The generator was also a wonderful surprise as we did lose power with the storms, but it didn’t impact our stay at all. We will definitely be back! |
