Georgia Triangle

Scenic Drives

The North Georgia Mountains provide many great mountain roads to drive, and the Georgia Triangle is one of them. Easily accessed from Hwy 60 off Hwy 76 in Morganton, GA (just a couple of minutes up the road from Blue Ridge, GA) going towards Suches and Dahlonega. In Suches, there is a popular hang-out, meet-up spot called Two Wheels of Suches.

The triangular loop is made up of U.S. Route 19 and Georgia State Routes 60 and 180 and has some thrilling S-curves and the best scenery. The Georgia Triangle is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains just north of the charming, historic mountain town of Dahlonega but can be started in Morganton on Hwy 60.

The three-road loop is located within the Chattahoochee National Forest, and there’s an abundance of streams, waterfalls, lush forests, and historic sites in the area.
