Crane Creek VineyardsWineries-Vineyards Crane Creek Vineyards sits high in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Georgia, just three miles north of the quaint college town of Young Harris in the shadow of Brasstown Bald, the state's highest peak. Less than two hours from Atlanta - yet a world away... In Italy, there is a much more casual air about wine. Like anywhere, there is a wide range of wine styles and wine drinkers. Each of these wine styles is as legitimate as the next. Here at Crane Creek, we share that belief. First and foremost, wine is best enjoyed with food, friends, and family -- preferably all at the same time! We also believe that wine is for everyone, and for everyone, there is a wine. As such, we craft a variety of separate labels, each with a different style and appeal to our many guests. At Crane Creek Vineyards, we like to think that wines made from our grapes are an expression of our unique area. Our twelve acres of vines are planted in a variety of grapes, including the European varieties of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. We also grow the old-world French American hybrid varieties of Chambourcin, Vidal Blanc, Seyval Blanc, and Villard Noir, along with the modern hybrid Chardonel. The Native American varieties Norton and Catawba round out our unique varietal collection.
