Can't Wait Until We ReturnWe traveled from Tampa, Florida for our first couples’ getaway to Blue Ridge, GA. We had a total of eight couples and rented Outlaw Ridge and Fallen Timber Lodge. We really enjoyed ourselves and can’t wait until we return. The cabins were beautiful and spacious, just as described. | The MemoriesFrom someone who is extremely picky about where we stay, this cabin far exceeded our expectations. I was overwhelmed by the beauty of it coming in, and we are all sad leaving going out. We are already talking about our next visit to Cohutta Sunset. We made beautiful memories... We are already talking about our next visit to Cohutta Sunset. We made beautiful memories here and appreciate all the details, from the gorgeous kitchen with the tin roof stove vent to the waterfall shower, to the industrial TP holders. :) Thank you for accommodating our family's special requirements. We were able to relax and enjoy our visit here. Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. Family Gatherings are very special to us since we are only able to do it twice a year. Family Gatherings are very special to us since we are only able to do it twice a year. We have decided against going to the beach from now on, it's mountains, blue skies and water. Although we began with a "Rocky" start it turned out to be a very peaceful and relaxing week. Monday was the perfect lazy, rainy day. Tuesday was a day of fishing and exploring - the gazebo alone has inspired a backyard getaway reminder. For the 4th day local family & friends paid a visit for great BBQ, laughter and drinks. Thursday was "venture day" from precious boutiques downtown, a record breaking round of golf at Butternut Creek in Blairsville. A three year olds first catch with daddy, and baby's first wave it was a blessed day. On Friday we put the "AD" in Adventure. Seven of us went whitewater rafting and only three stayed in the boat the entire trip. "Scars are tatoos with better stories". That night we REALLY appreciated the hot tub. All in all the week was full of great food, memorable moments and family togetherness. |
