SPECIAL BULLETIN: COVID-19
Due to COVID-19, Fannin County declared a State of Emergency, whereby all cabin companies have been shut down through no fault of our own. City and County officials voted to enact a “State of Emergency” and “Shelter in Place” for Blue Ridge, Fannin County and Ellijay, Gilmer County.
In order to safeguard our area, an Emergency Order has been decreed for all cabin companies to not accept any new arrivals until after April 13, 2020 in Fannin County.
Existing Reservations - Like many other vacation rental companies nationwide, we are offering to reschedule your existing reservation for another time in 2020. All existing reservations that are scheduled for departure on or before April 30, 2020, can be rescheduled up to 48 hours prior to arrival for another time in 2020. What you have paid previously would be applied as a credit to the new stay and the change fee would be waived. Limit of one date change per reservation, please.
New Reservations - Our office is available to take reservations online and via telephone for any dates with arrival after April 13, 2020.
We are in the process of contacting all of our guests scheduled to arrive during this time period to reschedule your reservation for a later date. We are currently contacting guests in the order in which they are scheduled to arrive.

Is there wildlife in the area?
Yes. Because you are coming to the mountains, there is a good chance you will encounter and experience some sort of wildlife in the area. The most popular wildlife we experience are as follows: deer, bear, raccoons, squirrels, opossum, turkey, small scorpions, snakes, flying insects, and ladybugs. Please help us deter the bears, raccoons, etc. by properly bagging your trash and disposing of it in the bear-proof garbage cans. Please do not leave any trash outside for these animals. In the summer months where flying/biting/stinging insects are a nuisance, we encourage bug repellent or spray. All of our cabins are professionally treated on a regular schedule for pests, but we cannot guarantee that you will not encounter some type of bug or insect on occasion in or around the cabin.
Beginning in the fall ladybugs will find their way into the cabin to hibernate for the winter. These are harmless ladybugs and do not bite. On warm winter days, they come out of hiding because they think it's spring/summer. They are a nuisance, but there is absolutely nothing we can do to control them except vacuum them up.
