After my mother in law was diagnosed with breast cancer in August for the 2nd time, she had to cancel a previously planned trip. We wanted to find a space that had a gorgeous view, comfortable rooms for sleep and lots of... We stayed here with my in-laws for a special weekend away. After my mother in law was diagnosed with breast cancer in August for the 2nd time, she had to cancel a previously planned trip. We wanted to find a space that had a gorgeous view, comfortable rooms for sleep and lots of space for relaxing, so she could unwind and reset. This did not disappoint!! The view was stunning, the outdoor furniture was clean and comfortable, we even ate outside one night and sat with blankets by the fire once the sun went down. The beds were comfortable, the water was nice and hot and we had plenty of space to relax and play games. She even commented on how clean it was. The kitchen was very well stocked with cooking items, coffee, crockpot, utensils etc. We did bring our own firewood for the upstairs outdoor fireplace and a heads up the road can seem steep but just take your time and you’ll be fine. It was about 25 minutes to town. We left rejuvenated with new memories to hold on to and very happy with our stay. We hope to book this place on our next visit to Blue Ridge! |
