Family Picnic at the Swinging Bridge
The Swinging Bridge on the Toccoa River is the sight to see for day-hikers. The bridge is 265 feet long and is the longest swinging bridge east of the Mississippi River. The Blue Ridge area has a number of incredible waterfall hikes ~ Closest and fun for families with small kids is Fall Branch Falls, right off Aska Road, just 15 minutes from Downtown Blue Ridge. For a more strenuous but stunning waterfall, be sure to visit Amicalola Falls.
