Breathtaking Cabin

As we walked into the cabin it took our breathe away, just as it stated it would. Wow! Tiffany Lamps, huge kitchen, gorgeous beddings, we were ecstatic. A true joy it was. We immediately selected our rooms and put our belongings in them and beginner first day task- Cook Out! Man- did we cook…from grilled steaks, chicken, links, brautwarst to greens, cornbread, potato salad, toss salad, green beans and the best sweet potato pies my mom makes. Yum! Yum! …its on now!

After such a wonderful meal, we decided to play pool, cards and dominoes. It was midnight when we realized we had been indulged for hours. Wow! We had gotten so relaxed and were having so much fun! By 1:00 a.m the fun had to come to an end because we had one more full day and a lot to cram in that day.

8:00 am and half of the guests were already in the kitchen preparing breakfast. Bacon, eggs, grits and biscuits covered our plates. By 9, we were sitting down to the delicious breakfast realizing how blessed we are to be apart of Gods creation like this. We were reflecting on the beauty around us…to look out the windows from the North, South, East and West and discovering the beauty was amazing. After our breakfast we gathered up for our drive to Atlanta to see the Martin Luther Kings Jr. historical site and what a site it was. Once we got back we sat around the campfire and telling stories. We ate, laughed, sang and cried. Most of us enjoyed each other and will cherish our time here @ Fallen Timber forever. God is Awesome! It has truly been a pleasure staying here. The memories and pictures will last forever.
