As we came up the driveway of this house and caught our first glimpse of Birchwood Lodge, all six of us in the car exclaimed at once! We were all overwhelmed by its beauty and size surrounded by gorgeous trees and views. When I was looking for a house, I wanted it to be beautiful and roomy, and my family gave the reaction I wanted to hear. Our two relatives joined us from another area so we could all be together for Thanksgiving in a beautiful and comfortable home. The decor is sophisticated but very homey. I felt like I was in a Hallmark movie! We enjoyed roasting marshmallows in the fireplace on the porch and left the skewers we bought so future guests can use them. There were eight of us and we enjoyed every inch of this house. It is very suitable for a large group like ours. All the beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were roomy. Thank you for allowing us to enjoy your beautiful home! We've had such an amazing stay. P.S. We are very appreciative of how clean the cabin was!
