Activities Family Memories Family Memories Made In North Georgia We had a wonderful time at your cabin! We made some special family memories. We all love Fall Branch Falls - beautiful! We roasted marshmallows, sat in the hot tub, picked apples at Mercier orchards, checked out Enchanted Mountain Trout meats shop - yummy rainbow trout!, hiked the Appalachian Trail around Long Creek Falls - that was an adventure!, and the kids enjoyed playing on the teepee tent and pool. Overall, we had a great time. We will miss this place, but we may be back next year. I think it's starting to become a family tradition. Oh, last night a screech owl woke us up. We didn't see a bear, but we have seen salamanders at the falls (the kids love them), a deer, chipmunks, and of course, hummingbirds. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us. From our family to yours - may God Bless you. Family R&R at Time Flies Four days of R&R, much needed for our family, who are not together in one place very often! Great views, pretty place - it was all good! Thank you! Family Retreat in the North Georgia Mountains Great road trip from Florida - the weather was warm, wet, and sunny - we had it all. We relaxed excessively! Went horseback riding (Adventure Trail Rides), visited Chattanooga, TN and saw Ruby Falls, visited Mercier's (awesome), ate all day, drank wine all night. There was something for all ages from 5 to 75. We even visited all the small towns around the area. One place we recommend is Cider House (local spot) serves home cooking only 1 or 2 dishes on the menu daily - super friendly and the most amazing chicken fried steak you'll eat in your life. Some of our favorite moments include spending quality time with our parents and kids. LOTS of board games and clean family fun!! The hot tub was fabulous. Family Reunion at The Great Getaway! Family Reunion on Lake Blue Ridge We love this lake home and had a great family reunion! We had a chance to enjoy the lake, and spend great time together. This house is stunning as well as all the furnishings! Family Summer Vacation This was our family's summer vacation. We came from Florida, and it was nice to get away from the heat. We went tubing, fishing, hiking, shopping at Huck's, and rented a pontoon boat on Lake Blue Ridge. The kids loved tubing behind the boat! We also really enjoyed watching the thunderstorm while swinging on the porch. Family Time Lots of family time for Spring Break! The train was cool, and the Big Foot Museum was neat! My kids taught their grandmother how to play pool - many evenings out by the fire in the "treehouse" just to visit with eachother. Such a treat to spend time with the ones you love. We visited Ruby Falls- INCREDIBLE - the kids will always remember the waterfall! Spent an afternoon tubing - such a great family adventure - and very organized - pink tubes. We had a friend loan his boat to us for a few days and enjoyed several trips out on Lake Blue Ridge - caught 5 bass - and cooked them for dinner. We didn't eat out, only because I think we have the top two chefs in our crew - my husband and my mom! We did buy some great fudge up at Lookout Mountain. Thank you for opening your home up to us - it was so very welcoming and cozy.
