Great getaway! The kids fell in love with the "boys' cave" downstairs. I kept hoping to see a bear/deer. Lovely cabin. Thank you!

Great house and even better location

Our group of three loved the house, and the location was perfect. The house was well equipped with everything that we needed, and we appreciated the super comfortable beds. We discovered the wonderful Ponce City Market, which was a short walk away. This was our first trip to Atlanta, and we debated renting a car. We tried Uber and were very happy with our choice. We never had to wait for more than 5 minutes from this area. Thank you so much for sharing this wonderful home. We'll be back next year!

Just got back from Fallen Timber Lodge. I got together with 9 of my high school friends. I must say that the lodge is so beautiful and can accommodate a large group. It has a spectacular view, the beds are comfy, and there is a great kitchen. It also has a log burning fireplace with a gas starter. The fire was very easy to start and keep going. We had a blast in the hot tub, too. I would recommend this house to anybody. In fact, I am planning on going back next year with the same bunch of girls!

Great Hikes and Great Food in the North Georgia Mountains

Sunday night... the trees danced... We love hiking down to the river and reading our books and drinking little bottles of champagne. We hiked the Stanley Gap Trail by the Toccoa River Restaurant. We saw beautiful waterfalls and on Stanley Creek Road a beautiful deer jumped out in front of us. We bought apples from Mercier Orchards, wine from Out of the Bleu in Blue Ridge, saw three deer on Hwy. 60 near Deep Gap. The hot tub was great. Wednesday night the stars were amazing. We ate great smoked trout from Enchanted Mountain Trout and Gourmet Meats from Butcher Tom in Morganton, along with smoked cheddar cheese, crackers, and white wine. Regina is so cute in overalls. Listened to Otis Redding, Jarvis, early Tina our last night. Finally made it to the swinging bridge!!! Had a great time! Thanks for a wonderful vacation!

This is a great home to come and relax. Each area of the home is decorated and comfortable. Games in room downstairs. My group had a wonderful time even though it was a short stay. You and the family will love it.
