  Bell MountainHiking  Bell Mountain is a popular hiking destination located near Hiawassee, Georgia. Offering 360-degree views, Bell Mountain is a favorite spot for hikers and nature enthusiasts. From the parking lot, climb up the easily accessible rocky trails to the top of the summit and breathe in the fresh mountain air. The other side of the parking lot offers a staircase leading to balconies overlooking the steep cliffs below. Though the area has been vandalized by graffiti, this backdrop is the perfect photo opportunity! From Blue Ridge, follow U.S. 76 east for 39 miles. Turn left onto Shake Rag Road and go 1.5 miles to Bell Mountain Road. Turn right and follow one mile on the narrow road to the summit. |  The Memories We had an awesome time here at Outlaw Ridge. We have traveled the world, but sometime you have to treasure your own state which is Georgia. :) This was the first time we rented a cabin and both the area and cabin gave us a great experience.
