Thank you for the experience!!! Thanks So Much! We had a great time! Thanks so much for a beautiful cabin that had everything we needed. The kids enjoyed air hockey and foosball. The hot tub was a big hit, too! Even got to see a couple of deer. Next time we want to come in the summer/fall to enjoy tubing and apple picking. Thanksgiving The first of the week, Kate and her grandmother baked Thanksgiving desserts. The rest of the family arrived for Thanksgiving. It was a beautiful day to celebrate. On the last night, we saw a black bear across the back yard! We enjoyed the backyard fire pit and the fireplace on the porch. We enjoyed the s'mores! Thanksgiving '14 We fell in love with this beautifully decorated cabin and its breathtaking view! We celebrated Thanksgiving ’14 here and couldn’t have imagined a more perfect place to do so. This review is from: Riverview Lodge Our 1st day: We are a family of 11, ranging in ages from 7 months to 65 years. We come from 3 segments of the country - Maryland, Michigan, and last but not least Georgia. So far, everything is lovely. Not a lot of plans for today, we are enjoying being together. Our 2nd and 3rd day: Last night was a good night. The air up in these mountains is very fresh. We had a great day! It was my night to cook and I prepared chili, 10" burrito bake, and tacos. Afterwards, we played cards and then Monopoly well into the night. We admired the breathtaking view while sitting on the deck. Also, just a few miles from here is a little diner called Pat's Kountry Kitchen. They have great food! Our 4th day: We spent time at the apple orchard today. It is a very nice place to visit! The cabin is wonderful and is a great place for a gathering of (10) friends.
