Activities Everything You Could Ask For in a Mountain Retreat Everything You Could Possibly Need Live Streaming Lodge is amazing! Cabin is decorated beautifully, clean, and has everything you would possibly need for your stay! The views are amazing! Everything You Need The cabin is very clean and private and it already has everything that you need. You just bring your clothes! It's not far from town and sits right on the water. We had a great time! Everything You Need Beautiful cabin. It's remote yet close enough to Aska Road and the town of Blue Ridge. The inside looks like Williams-Sonoma and Pottery Barn had a child. Everything you need.  Everything You Need is at Skydance! We really enjoyed our relaxing stay. Especially loved that all through the cabin it was decorated for Christmas. . .it added extra homely charm and sparkle, the only thing missing was the snow. Everything you can think of is there, all you need is food and drink. We were very impressed with the cleanliness. I would highly recommend to everyone. EXACT Elegance The cabin was true to match, which provided an awesome experience in and around the cabin. This was a first and definitely won’t be the last. My family truly enjoyed our stay and was saddened when the EXPERIENCE came to an end. A River of Dreams is definitely EXACT elegance. Exactly as Described Online! Our cabin was exactly as portrayed online...stunning, comfortable and fun. We gathered our 2 adult kids and their significant others and slipped away to Blue Ridge into Hemlock Hideaway for the first time for 5 relaxing days. We will be coming back! It was refreshing to see the cabin was exactly as described online. This was the first time a kitchen really had utensils, spices and pans large enough for us to cook in! The views from any window was breathtaking and we could hear the creek below. We hiked, played boardgames and challenged each other endlessly in the game room with the fireplaces flickering in the background. We toasted marshmellows and made smores, drank hot chocolate and sat around talking as we put together a puzzle. The people of Blue Ridge were warm, conversive and I left not getting a chance to see all the quaint stores. We visited Helen and Vogel State Park and enjoyed the scenic drives. This cabin location was perfect for us. We felt secluded but were minutes away from a Walmart and the main town. Exactly What I Was Looking For! As we came up the driveway of this house and caught our first glimpse of Birchwood Lodge, all six of us in the car exclaimed at once! We were all overwhelmed by its beauty and size surrounded by gorgeous trees and views. When I was looking for a house, I wanted it to be beautiful and roomy, and my family gave the reaction I wanted to hear. Our two relatives joined us from another area so we could all be together for Thanksgiving in a beautiful and comfortable home. The decor is sophisticated but very homey. I felt like I was in a Hallmark movie! We enjoyed roasting marshmallows in the fireplace on the porch and left the skewers we bought so future guests can use them. There were eight of us and we enjoyed every inch of this house. It is very suitable for a large group like ours. All the beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were roomy. Our journey to this cabin began because of a wonderful friend who rented this cabin for me, my husband, my brother and his wife. Our friend was with us when we found out my husband was very sick with cancer. He wanted my husband to enjoy some time away before he began his treatment. As we arrived, we saw the groundhog run under the house. We saw him one other time, then never saw him again. If was cold the first day we arrived, so we went to Walmart and bought a few things to eat and some fire starter. My brother started up the wood stove in the living room and we were nice and cozy. The cabin was nice. We all got much-needed rest. The boys fished, watched TV and fished some more. We enjoyed coffee outside every morning and eating breakfast at noon. We enjoyed the scenery and each other’s company. We were so thankful for out time here and we will always and forever cherish the memories we made here. This was just one more we will have to reflect and smile upon. We are so thankful. |
